We are searching for a Weddings & Events Food & Beverage Supervisor to work within our Weddings & Events Food & Beverage Team at The Mill in Rufford Abbey Country Park.

The Opportunity

  • To supervise the day to day operation and running of all weddings and events in order to maximise profitability in line with the company business plan.
  • Working with the sales team to deliver the highest level of customer service to the client and their guests.
  • Supervising the Food & Beverage team and leading them to deliver our clients chosen weddings or events package
  • To maximise the secondary spend opportunities where possible maximising the potential with good visual merchandising and sufficient stock and products
  • To ensure the highest possible standards of Health & Safety and legislative compliance.
  • Will be required to cover operational rotas as and when required to ensure a consistent/seamless service.

The Person

  • Must be able to build strong relationships with customers, clients and employees & communicate at different levels of the organisation, both direct and non direct.
  • Will be required to have a hands on approach and will be required to work shift-work as per the rota and be able to meet the demands of the role by working additional hours as and when required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of Google, Microsoft Office and Excel, ability to use other software packages (desirable i.e electronic purchasing system Bleep)
  • Must be able to supervise and motivate staff & able to maintain and be committed to good employee relations and deliver quality training.
  • Must be eligible to hold required licences on behalf of the Company.
  • Must be flexible, committed and have an innovative, operational approach to problem solving and have the ability to ‘think on their feet under’ pressure.
  • Must have a creative flair in terms of effective POS marketing and forward planning for outlets to maximise their exposure and seasonal demand from visitors.
  • Must have the ability to think outside the box with innovative ideas.
  • Must be able to be flexible to work patterns.
