Based at Penzance Leisure Centre, which is a busy community leisure centre with two swimming pools, a health suite, dance studio, 50 station gym and sports hall. The centre is operated through a PFI (Private Finance Initiative) Agreement with a detailed service specification.

Directly reporting to the Contract Manager, the Compliance Manager will be responsible for managing and developing the centre’s internal systems ensuring that the contract is operating in line with the Company’s financial, health and safety and environmental procedures, as well as managing the contractual requirements of the service specification.

On a day to day basis, this will include managing the centre’s helpdesk system, liaising with Cornwall Council, report writing, internal trend analysis and working with department teams to ensure ongoing quality of our service delivery.

The Person

• Organised and analytical, with an eye for detail
• Computer literate with report writing skills
• Experience of leisure management
• Ideally educated to degree level in an appropriate field
• Experience of contract management is desirable
