An exciting opportunity exists within our Cherwell Contract. Kidlington & Gosford Leisure Centre boasts a 25 metre, 4 lane Swimming Pool, Gym and functional training areas, Sports Hall, Squash Courts, Activity Hall, Indoor cycling Studio, Soft play and Astroturf pitch . This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop within the leisure industry.

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual who is looking to progress their career into management. This role will be adapted to fit you and your skills to ensure you reach your goals. You will oversee the centre operation and support the management team in the day-to-day running of the centre and in addition you’ll be involved in numerous activities and programs on offer. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop within the leisure industry.

The Opportunity

As a Duty Manager you will be trained to demonstrate full competence in the following areas; Financial reporting, processes and procedures, HR policies, procedures and practice, operational monitoring, facilities management and maintenance, customer service, sales and marketing.

The Person

Experience and knowledge of the fitness, leisure or health industries is advantageous and ideally, the successful candidate will hold a degree in Sports or similar. As well as hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or have the swimming ability to gain one .

Applications from candidates who hold a BTEC or HND and have experience in a leadership role are also welcome.
