An exciting opportunity exists within our West Berkshire Contract. Kennet Leisure Centre boasts a 25-metre 4-lane Swimming Pool, Flume, Learner Pool / Beach Area, 40-station ‘Expressions’ Fitness Gym, Sports Hall, Dance Studio & Outdoor Facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop within the Leisure Industry.

The Opportunity

• We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual who is looking to progress their career into management. This role will be adapted to fit you and your skills to ensure you reach your goals.
• You will oversee the centre operation and support the management team in the day-to-day running of the centre. In addition, you’ll be involved in numerous activities and programmes on offer.
• As a Duty Manager you will be trained to demonstrate full competence in the following areas; Financial reporting, processes and procedures, HR policies, procedures and practice, operational monitoring, facilities management and maintenance, customer service, sales and marketing.

The Person

• Experience and knowledge of the fitness, leisure or health industries is advantageous and ideally, the successful candidate will hold a degree in Sports or similar.
• Applications from candidates who hold a BTEC or HND and have experience in a leadership role are also welcomed.
